Let me just start off with saying what a beautiful table this. You can tell Alex and his crew took a lot of time and dedication and pride to build this, you don’t see very many tables like this being built by hand. It would look great in any home. Kelly, who was our liaison for this whole process was wonderful to work with, very quick to reply back to any question and answers that I had. When choosing what I wanted the table to look like she sent out walnut samples with different colors so I can view it in my home before choosing. I hope to work with them again in the future. When originally looking for a table I was browsing through Facebook marketplace and happened to stumble across Alex’s Ad listing. I’ll be honest to say I wasn’t 100% sure it was real. I couldn't be happier with our table ! I've been looking for a solid wood table for a while now, everything online is 3x as expensive & is nothing but crap materials. Between initial communication, getting samples of stain, to final delivery - the process was incredibly easy & I highly recommend this company!! 10/10 would purchase a piece from them again! Working with Alex and Kelly at Southpaw furniture on our custom white oak island and table has been an outstanding experience. From the very first message, they were incredibly responsive, easy to communicate with, and truly listened to what we wanted. The process itself was extremely thoughtful and well done. Instead of just sending a picture or a stain chart, they actually shipped us physical samples of the stain on real pieces of wood so we could see exactly how it would look in our space. He worked closely with me to design custom drawer inserts and a custom-sized pull-out, making sure everything functioned perfectly. It’s very clear that Southpaw is a quality-first business where they truly care about customers ending up with an incredible piece they’ll love for years. This is our modern farmhouse white oak trestle dining table with an intersecting x-base and mortise and tenon joinery handcrafted out of 1.75” thick white oak in Wisconsin. Featuring a solid white oak top and a very sturdy base with hard lines for that modern farmhouse look, this custom hardwood dining table is built to bring form and function into any home or commercial environment.

Key Features

Solid White Oak

Constructed from premium (prime grade) white oak. We don’t use any veneers or manufactured wood. It is 100% solid hardwood and it is heavy!

Customizable Sizes

From small formats, up to 10 feet long (message us for a quote on a table that large).

Adjustable Height

By default we make our tables about 30” tall, however we can adjust the height to fit your needs.

Tabletop Thickness

This table features a tabletop thickness of around 1.75 inches. However, we can do up to a 2.25 inch thick top!

Finish and Protection

We use a durable hard wax oil finish on our tabletops. If you are seeking a little extra protection, we are able to offer a water-based polyurethane finish.

Matching Bench

We are able to make a matching bench for any of our tables.

How long will it take to build?

This table will take approximately 5-7 weeks to build from the time an order is placed until it is shipped.

How does shipping work?

These tables are shipped in a custom crate and require a little bit of assembly. Assembly is very easy and straightforward. All you need is a screw driver and two people to work together to maneuver the tabletop and flip it over once assembled.

These are shipped using freight shipping. The carrier will set a delivery appointment with you directly and they will arrive in a truck with a lift-gate. They will unload the crate and place it outside of your house using a pallet jack.

If anything arrives damaged, we repair or remake it. Period.
