Let me just start off with saying what a beautiful table this. You can tell Alex and his crew took a lot of time and dedication and pride to build this, you don’t see very many tables like this being built by hand. It would look great in any home. Kelly, who was our liaison for this whole process was wonderful to work with, very quick to reply back to any question and answers that I had. When choosing what I wanted the table to look like she sent out walnut samples with different colors so I can view it in my home before choosing. I hope to work with them again in the future. When originally looking for a table I was browsing through Facebook marketplace and happened to stumble across Alex’s Ad listing. I’ll be honest to say I wasn’t 100% sure it was real. I couldn't be happier with our table ! I've been looking for a solid wood table for a while now, everything online is 3x as expensive & is nothing but crap materials. Between initial communication, getting samples of stain, to final delivery - the process was incredibly easy & I highly recommend this company!! 10/10 would purchase a piece from them again! The process itself was extremely thoughtful and well done. Instead of just sending a picture or a stain chart, they actually shipped us physical samples of the stain on real pieces of wood so we could see exactly how it would look in our space. He worked closely with me to design custom drawer inserts and a custom-sized pull-out, making sure everything functioned perfectly. It’s very clear that Southpaw is a quality-first business where they truly care about customers ending up with an incredible piece they’ll love for years. Each shelf is milled, assembled, sanded, and finished in our shop using traditional woodworking techniques. No two shelves are identical-natural variations in grain and tone are part of what makes solid wood special.
