Let me just start off with saying what a beautiful table this. You can tell Alex and his crew took a lot of time and dedication and pride to build this, you don’t see very many tables like this being built by hand. It would look great in any home. Kelly, who was our liaison for this whole process was wonderful to work with, very quick to reply back to any question and answers that I had. When choosing what I wanted the table to look like she sent out walnut samples with different colors so I can view it in my home before choosing. I hope to work with them again in the future. When originally looking for a table I was browsing through Facebook marketplace and happened to stumble across Alex’s Ad listing. I’ll be honest to say I wasn’t 100% sure it was real. I couldn't be happier with our table ! I've been looking for a solid wood table for a while now, everything online is 3x as expensive & is nothing but crap materials. Between initial communication, getting samples of stain, to final delivery - the process was incredibly easy & I highly recommend this company!! 10/10 would purchase a piece from them again! Working with Alex and Kelly at Southpaw furniture on our custom white oak island and table has been an outstanding experience. From the very first message, they were incredibly responsive, easy to communicate with, and truly listened to what we wanted. The island and table Alex built for us are absolutely stunning!! Far nicer than anything we were able to find in a store, even at high-end furniture and kitchen showrooms. The details, the craftsmanship, the finish… you can really see and feel the difference. We get so many compliments from everyone who walks into our kitchen. The process itself was extremely thoughtful and well done. Instead of just sending a picture or a stain chart, they actually shipped us physical samples of the stain on real pieces of wood so we could see exactly how it would look in our space. He worked closely with me to design custom drawer inserts and a custom-sized pull-out, making sure everything functioned perfectly. It’s very clear that Southpaw is a quality-first business where they truly care about customers ending up with an incredible piece they’ll love for years. This is our black walnut console table or entryway table handcrafted out of solid black walnut. Featuring a solid top with a shelf for storage and clean lines for a modern look, this console table is designed to bring form and function to your home.

Key Features

Solid Black Walnut

Constructed from premium (prime grade) black walnut. We don’t use any veneers or manufactured wood. It is 100% solid hardwood and it is heavy!

Customizable Sizes

We have some standard sizes listed, but we can customize the size to fit your space.

Adjustable Height

By default we make this console table 31.5-inches tall, however we can change the height to fit your space.

Tabletop Thickness

This table features a tabletop thickness of around 1.75 inches. However, we can do up to a 2.25 inch thick top!

Finish and Protection

We use a durable hard wax oil finish on our tabletops. If you are seeking a little extra protection, we are able to offer a water-based polyurethane finish.

How long will it take to build?

This table will take approximately 7-10 days to build from the time an order is placed until it is shipped.

How does shipping work?

These tables are shipped in a box fully assembled.

These are shipped using freight shipping. The carrier will set a delivery appointment with you directly and they will arrive in a truck with a lift-gate. They will unload the crate and place it outside of your house using a pallet jack.

For more information on our shipping policy, please refer to our shipping page. All items we ship are fully insured. In the rare event damage does occur during delivery we have systems in place to make sure your investment is protected.

If anything arrives damaged, we repair or remake it. Period.
